Remembering by the Ocean

Mother
Mermaid
Dark sea beauty
I beg of you to give me moments
To get glimpses of your glittering starlit
Eyes, your mysterious smile and
And hair that flows through
The ocean; likened to the secrets of the universe
If I see you, I will know
You are real
And I will sift my hands
Through the soft body of the sands
At the shores of your home
And promise to be real too
Maybe you visit people in their sleep
Like the sandman
And they are awakened by conch shells-
The cries of the
Dark lonely ocean calling them and they
Look for you too
One gaze in your
Eyes
They dive down to the depths of the dark
With Sea turtle
Guardians holding their feet
And starfish kisses
Of gentle embrace
Welcoming them
Welcoming us
Mermaid Mother
your radiant light
is calling us home
to the great ocean within

I am
The bones of Mother Earth
The smooth curved sensual
Passageway to the depths
To the depths
Of ocean floors
And creeping, crawling
Sea anemones
I am the spiraled
Skull of femininity
I long to be found in
The sand
Even stepped on and
Discovered, if need be…
To be picked up, caressed, oohheeed and aahhed at, lifted
Up to the father sun and blessed
I am, on the cold, covered-in-sand days,
Lost in sand castles
And muffled laughter
Of children
Ignoring me
I puff up my brown and orange
Swirly feathers
Daring to be
Unearthed
Touched
Adored
Loved
There are sooo many secrets I wish to tell, pull me close
Closer
Feel my rough, hardened
Curved exterior
And feel along the
Maze into the
Softness of me
Deep
Muscley
Truth part of me
I appear to be the bones of
The dead
Yet if you listen and feel long
Enough, you will hear me
Sing through you…to your heart of
Your aliveness

vessel of She
who fills our heart with warmth and fullness

the ocean moves with moon energy moving to and fro

moving so rhythmically in sync with Her grace that I am finally still

in awe

I drink of her ocean wisdom and satiate my cells

Oh, the star of Sun
nestling into crystalline pieces of him

Feeling everything, Being Nothing

My body is Her body, the ocean

My body is his body, the Sun

The rocks and ocean merely a portal
enriching all my senses
knowing her and his Presence with my infinite beingness

waterfalls of love and warmth pour into my heart

crystalline sands and underworlds of ocean play with me

glittering sapphire rays caress me

rainbow radiance
completes me

The Sun glittering and whispering through the ocean, "You are a Child of this Earth"

"You are part of us"
